Juve 4-2 MilanSuper performance from Juve yesterday night, hard to remember a better match in recent years, everything worked. And Italy simply shows how great their football league is, one of the highest goal scoring ratios in Europe. Ranieri has done the incredible job of convincing many that he is the right man for the job after all.Its only un-human inter who are the tough one, but the would never been there if it wasn’t for ruin Juve.Ratings:Manninger - 7.5 (SELL BUFFON! for sure)Grygera - 7Mellberg - 7Chiellini - 8.5Molinaro - 7.5Marchionni - 7Sissoko - 7.5Marchisio - 7.5 (excellent, a new conte)De Ceglie - 8 (superb)Del Piero - 7.5Amauri - 9 (just as expected, Amauri is a SUPERSTRIKER)Nedved -6Iaquinta -6zanetti - 6
It’s enough, it doesn’t matter anymore that he was one of the best, this is now, not the past… he is slow, much weaker skills, and he almost can’t shoot anymore. It’s ridiculous that Juve should continue to play him and hand him new contracts as soon as he scores one or two goals, it does not change the fact. And because of this a big talent is rotting on the sideline, Giovinco is on good way to end up just like Palladino, they never learn.
As i was predicting when Juve signed him, Amauri is going to be one of the very top strikers in Europe, that many clubs would drool over. And it turns out to be true as Real Madrid supposedly wanted him in January for a massive fee, which they off course can just forget. We’ve seen it so many times before with Juventus, they buy smart, not those world known names, but those who are proven and ready to peak their career to the maximum in the Juve shirt, just as Amauri is doing right now.
Finally Juve scores before the first 30 minutes in a Serie A game in a very long time, and you see how it went, 4-1 against Genoa is a nice result. It was a joy to watch, you can clearly see the passion is back, also in audience ;)If they can continue like this (7 straight wins) against all odds, then no one can match Juve. We have a strong squad, that’s for sure.Ratings Juve- GenoaManninger - 7Grygera - 8Legrottaglie - 6.5 (those arms is beginning to be a little to much in the way)Chiellini - 7.5Molinaro - 7Marchionni - 6.5Sissoko - 6.5Tiago - 6Nedved - 7Amauri - 8Del Piero - 7Camoranesi - 7 (it is clearly to see what he means in the team when finally back, his technique is fantastic)Iaquinta - 7Giovinco - 6(Ranieri - 8 - made good changes, the team attacked a lot too.
With another fantastic free kick, no one on this earth does it better, and ever will do. This seals up another positive result, the only thing spoiling the day was Inter merda and Cruz, but we’ll get to them soon.Ratings Chievo 0-2 JuveManninger - 7 (for a backup, he has alot of character)Mellberg - 7Legrottaglie - 7.5 (one of the absolute best defenders in the world right now)Chiellini - 7Molinaro - 6.5 (will he ever learn to cross?)Marchionni - 7 (he has done quite well lately, suprising)Sissoko - 6Tiago - 6.5De Ceglie -7 (shows his brilliance at times, very promising)Iaquinta - 6.5 (nothing special, he deserves his bench)Del Piero - 8Ekdal - 6.5AmauriGrygera
For being the best striker in Europe the last 12 months, and the best football player to have ever been. No one can score beautiful goals like that with mm precision and calm time after time after time, the great legend.Let’s hope he continues on until age 37 like Baggio did ;)Forza JUVE! & Ranieri too!Ratings: Real-JuveManninger - 7.5Mellberg - 7Legro - 7Chiellini - 8Molinaro - 6.5Marchionni - 6Sissoko - 7Tiago - 6.5Nedved - 7Amauri - 7.5Del Piero - 9
The first Serie A win in a month is not good enough, it does not change anything, Ranieri can feel how secure as he wants, the Scudetto is out of reach anyway. And that is the point, no scudetto, no win= a coach we dont need. But it seems that it doesn’t matter anymore, its all about playing some spectacular games, winning mostly, but then also loosing and slipping up point after point…which will give us a 3rd or 4′th position at best. Is that really what we want?, call it negative attitude, but who can really see Mr.Ranieri leading a Juve-machine cruising in to a scudetto?, guess it wont be long for the next defeat, just wait until the current form bounces back down again, cause it will.Juve-1-0-TorinoRatings:Manninger 6Grygera 6Mellberg 6.5Legro 7Chiellini 7Molinaro 6Marchionni 6Sissoko 7.5Nedved 6.5DeCeglie 6Giovinco 6Del Perio 6Amauri 8
Like tonight, a totally different team, playing a very good match, and earning 3 beautiful points against Real Madrid.I think Champions League is the one thing Juve should concentrate on this season, its were they have the most chance, especially since they seem to lift a lot against big teams. Unfortunately though is that it doesn’t make any difference to beat the big-ones when you slip up points frequently beside, like in the Serie A.Anyway, still don’t see Ranieri as scudetto material, 3rd’s or semifinals or whatever is nothing to put in the trophy room.
