Juventus vs Lazio

Turbulent season for Juve ends on Sunday. For the first time in 40 years, they have sacked the coach during the season, while they will finish second if they beat Lazio, but second place is not good enough for Old Lady. They have already made some good moves as Cannavaro returned, while Brazilian Diego, who is tipped for big things, arrived from Werder. It is still unclear who will lead the team next season. Lazio have got the same dilemma even though they have won Coppa Italia. President Lotito is still negotiating with coach Rossi, as it seems that money is the problem regarding Rossi’s new deal. Lazio don’t have enough money and they will struggle to keep all their stars at the club. They face big problems despite very successful season.

Siena vs Juventus

May 23rd, 2009 | Source: Freebetting.net | Category: Match previews

This has been a turbulent week for Juve which will come to its end in Siena on Sunday afternoon. After the seven winless games in a row, the board finally axed Ranieri. This was the first time in the last 40 years that Juventus decided to do such a thing. this decision was not a surprise, after all, the Tinkerman lost the trust of all in the club, from players all the way to the director. Plus, the fans have never accepted him the right way. Club’s legend and Lippi’s former assistant in the national team, Ciro Ferrara will replace him until the end of this season. He spent time training the youth squad and should be only a interim solution. This game will mean mothing to Siena, their goal is accomplished couple of weeks ago and they can’t wait for break to start. This has been a great year for Sennesi. Namely, although they lost couple of excellent player last summer, young expert Giampaolo pushed his players to the limit and this small Toscana town will spent another year in the elite.

Juventus – Atalanta

May 15th, 2009 | Source: FreeBetting.net | Category: Latest News

Juventus are the most dangerous when everyone underestimate them. You probably remember this statement from last week in our preview for the game in Milan. Whole world bet on Milan and the game ended winless. Juventus were even better on the pitch. It was one of their bets games lately, but they stayed on third, where they will probably finish the season. A point at San Siri bought Claudio Ranieri some time on the bench, but it is hard to believe that he will stay after June. Actually, the third place, elimination from Copa Italia semifinals and the Champions League second round are not the results worthy of this famous club. Atalanta arrive to Piemonte without pressure; they play to get it over with, though they did compromise Genoa’s chances of Champions League spot. They arrive to Torino without several of their best players, coach Del Neri has no reasons to experiment as he will leave Bergamo. Floccari and Ferreira Pinto are out for the season, Guarente and Padoin are suspended, while Talamonti and Capelli are also out.

AC Milan – Juventus

May 8th, 2009 | Source: FreeBetting.net | Category: Latest News

Judging by how big the two clubs are and how many trophies they won so far, this is probably the biggest derby of Italian football. These duels usually decide the title race but that hasnt been the case in the last two seasons. This is practically the fight for the second place in the standings. Juventus have lost all the hope, while Milan still have got a mad hope that they will catch Inter despite the seven-point advantage. Rossoneri enter the match on the back of the great run that saw them leapfrog Juve in the standings and they are now four points clear of Old Lady. Ranieri is definitely leaving and this match will determine whether he will go immediately or at the end of the season. The fans are calling for changes as they want to see the club return to old glory days but the incompetent management and not good enough players cannot make that happen.

Juventus – Inter

Apr 17th, 2009 | Source: FreeBetting.net | Category: Latest News

This game is the great derby of the championship whose charm is not so bright due to the fact that Inter are close to restoring the title after Juventus poor results. Champions are arriving to Turin with great ten-point advantage and, even if they lose, it is hard to believe that anything will change. They are without pressure and Mourinho expect a top-level performance, more so because Inter were better outside their home grounds this season. After a draw with Chievo and loss in Genoa, there is a high alert state in Juventus. The title bid is long over, runners-up seat is not guaranteed either. Disappointed fans are asking Ranieris head, but the club backed the coach. Still, if the season end the wrong way, without Italian Cup title and runners-up seat, it is very possible that a new face will come on the hot bench of the greatest Italian club ever! Media have their candidates, former skipper, Antonio Conte, Roma manager, Spalleti and Gasperini who made a huge impact with his Genoa this season. Juventus are still to play Italian Cup semifinal return leg against Lazio and Ranieri needs to be wise and rest some players which only makes fans angrier.

Genoa – Juventus

Apr 10th, 2009 | Source: FreeBetting.net | Category: Latest News

Derby of 31st round is a very important match for both rivals, though Juventus dropped on nine points behind Inter after drawing with Chievo and hardly anyone believes that bianconeri can challenge the title. They gambled away the chances, lost many points against weaker teams and it is clear now that Juve dont have the quality to compete with Inter. They travel to Genoa to fight inspired hosts that held on to the fourth place after a minimum triumph in Calabria. Genoa have the historical opportunity to get hold of the Champions league, but it wont be easy as Fiorentina and even Roma are lurking from behind. We believe, judging from what Gasperinis team showed this season that they deserve to achieve the biggest success in club history. Juve will host Inter next week, and the will try to win at Marassi in order to keep at least some hope, but the situation in the club is not so good after the clash between del Piero and Ranieri. We are yet to see if legendary captain will be in the starting line-up after staying in the locker room after the break against Chievo.

Juventus vs Chievo

Apr 3rd, 2009 | Source: Freebetting.net | Category: Match previews

Juventus are not giving up. They ran through Rome, sealed new three points and stayed seven points adrift of Inter. Runners-up place is theirs, Italian Cup return leg against Lazio remains the only hope to win a trophy this season, but we feel that Juventus are the only club in the world whose fans are fully aware that things are not good enough. Ranieri and the players are still dreaming of the title, Inter will arrive to Olimpico soon, but, to be frank, we don’t think they will manage to turn the tables around. Besides the fact they had an incredible injuries scenario this season, Juvenstus still didn’t lose hope. The squad is tired in these final stages, but no one should, nonetheless, take them for granted. Chievo are the sizzler of the second term. They have lost only one game, completely undeservedly, we might say, to Fiorentina. This is a different team under Mimmo di Carlo, they took a lot of points outside Bentegodi, and they have finally won in Verona in the last round. Minimal-margin win over Palermo is an excellent result, the fans are in raptures after the recent development on the standings. Namely, Chievo are six points clear of Torino who are inside the dropping zone. Nothing is over yet, but Veronesi have a great chance to secure the survival.
